Agentic Dashboard

I had an agent build a complete Power BI project unattended from a written contract, then prove it. The contract describes Microsoft’s public Dashboard in a Day source data column by column and trap by trap, states the target star schema, and states the figures the finished model must return. The agent authored the TMDL and PBIR by hand.

##How it works

• The model came out as 6 tables, 4 single-direction relationships and 7 measures over 7.2 million sales rows, with a /// business description on every visible object. Postal codes repeat across countries, so geography joins on a composite key built identically on both sides.
• The report has 2 pages, 21 visuals and 25 interaction rules.
• Nine offline gates and Microsoft’s PBIR validator ran before Desktop opened once. A synthetic proof suite plants defects to confirm each gate rejects them.
• Live DAX assertions compared 21 values against numbers stated independently in the contract: 0 mismatches.
• Reviewing the rendered pages caught four defects every automated check had passed, including a currency card that silently dropped a formatting literal.

##Why it matters

A model that loads has been type-checked, not verified. The repository ships the spec and the harness but never the build, because shipping the build would be shipping the answer key.
